Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities – Bar Steward
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the bar area, counters, glassware, and equipment.
Wash, sanitize, polish, and organize all bar glassware and utensils.
Assist Bartenders with daily mise en place and bar preparations.
Ensure adequate stock of ice, garnishes, mixers, straws, napkins, and other bar supplies.
Replenish bar supplies during service as required.
Assist in receiving, storing, and organizing bar inventory.
Follow proper FIFO and storage procedures for bar supplies.
Collect and clear used glasses, bottles, and bar equipment promptly.
Support the bartender during busy service periods for smooth operations.
Dispose of waste properly and maintain a clean, organized workstation.
Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards.
Assist with opening and closing duties of the bar.
